Non-Lethal Strategies for dealing with the Canada Geese

Did you know there is an overpopulation of Canada Geese in Michigan?

In Michigan, the number of giant Canada geese counted each spring increased from about 9,000 in
1970 to over 300,000 in 2000. Today, Michigan’s Canada goose populations are managed between
175,000 and 225,000. Giant Canada geese nest in every Michigan county, but are most common in
the southern third of the state.
