CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS PROJECTS
2015 City Sidewalk Program
Intermittent shoulder and lane closures will be necessary to accommodate sidewalk installation on 14 Mile Road between Farmington and Drake, on Halsted Road north of 9 Mile, and on 8 Mile Road west of Halsted. Lane closures will be scheduled outside of high volume traffic periods.
Grand River Homes Water Main Project
Work is underway, intermittent road closures on Tulane, Albion and Liberty Streets will be required to accommodate construction. Shoulder and lane closures will also be necessary on Middlebelt Road as work progresses. Access to local properties will be maintained throughout construction. This project is scheduled for completion by Labor Day.
Muer Cove Water Main Project
Work is underway, intermittent road closures on Mirlon and Muer Cove will be required to accommodate construction. Access to local properties will be maintained throughout construction. This project is scheduled for completion by mid-summer.
Bristol Lane Local Road Paving
Work is underway; access to properties will be maintained throughout construction. This project is scheduled for completion by mid-July.
Woodbrook Local Road Paving
Work is currently underway; access to properties will be maintained throughout construction. This project is scheduled for completion by Labor Day.

COUNTY PROJECTS
Northwestern Connector Project (14 Mile/Orchard Lake)
The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has closed 14 Mile Road at the west side of the 14 Mile/Orchard Lake intersection on the Farmington Hills/West Bloomfield Township border to construct a roundabout. This section of 14 Mile will be closed until mid-summer. A detour route has been posted. Additionally, there will be temporary lane closures on 14 Mile, Orchard Lake and Northwestern Highway in the vicinity of the 14 Mile /Orchard Lake intersection for the duration of the project, which is scheduled to be substantially complete by this fall.

8 Mile Road Rehabilitation (Meadowbrook Road [Novi] to Halsted Road [Farmington Hills])
The Wayne County Department of Public Services (WCDPS) is rehabilitating the existing concrete roadway. Work will include removing and replacing entire concrete panels and joints throughout the job limits. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction for the duration of the project. This project is scheduled for completion by mid-summer.
Middlebelt Sewer Transport and Storage Tunnel (I-696 to Northwestern Highway)
This Oakland County Water Resources Commission project will continue through 2016. Currently, shoulder closures are in place along Middlebelt Road throughout the southern project limits. Additional road closures will be necessary as the project progresses, updates will be forthcoming.
CITY OF NOVI PROJECT
Haggerty Road Widening Project (South of 10 Mile Road)
All ditching and storm sewer work was completed last fall, road work has resumed and paving operations are scheduled to begin next week.
